Tricks to exercise with household items
Arm exercises: Towels and poles
You don’t have to buy a barbell for arm exercises. You can use whatever is at home to get started. The rolled bath towels or the handle of the cleaning cloth can be used for arm triceps, biceps and back exercises. They’re not heavy, but you can add weights. You can hang water bottles or wet towels on each side of the stick.
Strength training: Bags and bottles
We have heard of weight vests when doing squat, lunge or dumbbell lifting in gymnasiums you can. So, how about a handle or backpack packed with rice or pasta packs with durable handles?
Another option is to use different sizes of plastic bottles. Fill them with sand, water or mud and replace them with dumbbells or weight plates.
Cardiovascular exercises: Chairs and stairs
Do you still think that you can not train with household items that are still in your home ? If you want to do some cardio, you can always use the stairs, small boxes, chairs or benches to go up and down. Open some music and act!
Use pillows instead of yoga blocks
Yoga blocks sometimes used to support your poses are not available in every home. You can support your movements by placing the books on top of each other. You can also sit on top of a few pillows instead of yoga blocks in a sitting position. Especially this trick will help you to do a solid meditation.
